🎸 The 1980s were the glory days of South Bay nightlife—packed clubs, neon lights, big hair, louder guitars, and dance floors that never seemed to empty. While RPM was rocking clubs all across the Bay Area during that era, one of the iconic spots at the heart of that scene was Boswell's—now reborn as Cedar Room. It’s only fitting that we return to a venue that carries so much of that same energy as we kick off our 2026 “Bring It Back” Tour and celebrate 45 years of RPM. If you remember the club scene back then—or just want to experience what made it unforgettable—grab your friends, lace up those dancing shoes, and come relive the music, the memories, and the magic of the ’80s with RPM on May 23rd. 🔥🎶

We’re excited to announce our RPM 2026 “Bring It Back” Tour, kicking off with our inaugural show at Cedar Room at The Pruneyard on May 23rd — just 2 months from today!

This isn’t just opening night… it’s a celebration of 45 years of music, memories, and moments we’ve shared with YOU. 💛

We’re diving into our roots and bringing back songs from our early days — the ones that started it all — and playing them in the venues you know and love.

Whether you’ve been there since the beginning or you’re just finding us now, this year is going to be something special.

Ever wonder how RPM manages to roll in, set up mountains of gear, dial in those killer lights and effects, and somehow still capture 99% of the photos and videos you see from our shows? That behind-the-scenes magic doesn’t happen by accident—it happens because of Colby Hanson. While the rest of us are tuning up and hitting the stage, Colby is already ten steps ahead, making sure everything looks right, sounds right, and runs right.

Since RPM reunited in 2013, Colby has been there—gig after gig—doing whatever it takes to make every show happen. He is truly the glue that holds RPM together, supporting the band on virtually every performance and keeping the wheels turning from load-in to load-out. We literally couldn’t do this without him.

Join us in wishing Colby a very Happy Birthday and thanking him for everything he does to keep RPM firing on all cylinders! 🎸🔥👏
