Happy Birthday to Amanda! Art Builds Community's partner, research director, project manager, and explorer of the arts!

She does the vital work of researching policies and histories of every community she has the opportunity to visit in order to create strategic and intentional arts and cultural recommendations that create a lasting impact.

She LOVES the arts...

And supporting future arts administrators...
..and working with artists in transforming welcoming spaces!

She's also a badass in empowering youth voices in public art planning...

No matter how young they are!

With a background in arts history, she's a great example of the many different career paths one can pursue in the arts.

Her movement work helps artists take up space in new places.

and help communities feel seen...

and heard.

She's wanderlust...

finds joy in living in the moment,

and is never afraid to voice her opinions when it comes to community and arts...which are just some of the many strengths she brings to the work we do at ABC.

You've probably seen some of the projects she's had a helping had in.

And with her passion, you'll definitely see more come to life in our everyday spaces in San Jose and beyond.

Happy Birthday Amanda! Thank you for all that you do. We 🩵 you! 🎉💐🎂
