Congratulations to the legendary 💐💿

I started working with Spin back in 2016 — at the very beginning of my music industry journey — and I learned so much from this woman. Watching her balance it all as a mom, a trailblazer, and a powerhouse in a male-dominated industry showed me what true strength and grace look like.

I’ll never forget seeing her honored with the Breaking Barriers Award at the 2017 Global Spin Awards — presented by DJ Khaled — for her pioneering work as a female DJ paving the way for so many who came after her.

And beyond the music, I remember her giving back — like the day we went to the Upper Eastside Girls Club where she donated her time, her heart, and her wisdom to the next generation. That moment taught me to always lead with love and purpose.

It’s been an honor to know her, to learn from her, and to witness this historic moment as she continues to break barriers — now as the first-ever DJ inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

So proud of you, Spin. You deserve it all. ❤️✨
