Before the Grammys, billion‑dollar deals and stadium tours, JAY‑Z was just a kid from Marcy nobody wanted to sign.

He’s talked about going to every single record label and hearing “no” over and over again –

Instead of folding, he bet on himself:
🚫 No deal? ➝ He built Roc‑A‑Fella Records
🚫 No co‑sign? ➝ He became the co‑sign
🚫 No seat at the table? ➝ He bought the building

1️⃣ Hustle.
2️⃣ Don’t wait until you have everything you need. Start where you are.
3️⃣ Don’t run your mouth. Let the work speak.
4️⃣ Skills are transferable. What you learn in the streets, school or 9‑5 can fund your dream.
5️⃣ Know how to handle rejection. It’s data, not destiny.
6️⃣ Make a plan. Vision + ex*****on.
7️⃣ Don’t take your eyes off the prize.
8️⃣ Dream enormous. If it doesn’t scare you, it’s too small.
9️⃣ Demand respect. From others and from yourself.
🔟 Accept help from mentors. Closed mouths don’t get fed.
