Manifested in 1985 by Erik Nielsen, this analog and digital audio recording studio is professionally designed by Frank Hubach and Associates of Berkeley, California. Recording Studio 48 is the result of a careful cultivation process, taking shape over 40 years. Reflected in the iterations of the studio setting, equipment, and acoustics is the better part of Erik’s life

working professionally in the music business as both a drummer and a producer. Building this project-based studio from the ground up catering to songwriters and singers has been his personal, artistic pleasure. The vast majority of projects taken home and taken to heart are created and worked through an artist’s own financial and musical power. This can be done effectively and simply in the heart of the internet industry, here at Recording Studio 48.
