From the 1950's through the 1980's, eccentric and avant-garde Italian composer Spumon DeCarlo penned and produced over a dozen regrettable musicals that all bombed on Broadway.
Success and fame find DeCarlo forty years after his last musical when his grandson Gino posts videos of his productions on social media, skyrocketing DeCarlo to instant viral celebrity and international acclaim from a new generation of theatergoers.

Join us as the American Theatre Endowment honors Spumon DeCarlo with a lifetime achievement award for his invaluable contribution to American Musical Theatre.
