We are a day late, but we wanted to pay special tribute this week to THE CLASS OF 2020!!! And especially to our amazing young Asian Art Museum interns, Oakland School for the Arts students and the incredible Naima! You all are going places and we can't wait to follow you there! You inspire us on a daily basis and we love and appreciate you very much for all of your hardwork and being who you are! The twinsies believe that there is hope for all of us with these future visionaries working their magic. We gon be alright! Love you art genius babies!!! Cyber bear hugs! You can always come paint with us! We miss you already but we're proud of you and you'll always have us (you're stuck with us for life!) 💖💖💖

THIS SUNDAY! Mother’s Day, May 10th at 11am join the Twinsies as we channel the Goddess mother Tara together! Get creative and dress up as your favorite embodiment of Tara. Bring out the makeup, wigs, glitter and velvet or just wear your favorite color! Tara will help us navigate the path to enlightenment and protect us through the unknown. Tara fest will take place on Zoom, we will start with a sound bath, followed by an activity and meditation. We hope to see you there and please ‘bring’ your Mom, a.k.a the original goddess in your life, to help celebrate! The event is three days away! May 10th from 11am - 11:40am on Zoom.

As promised Side B of our mural "Goddesses and the Art of Compassionate Wrath" and of course a little twinsie magic. The world is in an uncertain place and you might find yourself anxious, scared, angry, or lost in a negative void. Buddha says "Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without." We can not control our surroundings or the people that surround us. What we can control is ourselves and the interactions and reactions we share with each other. It takes discipline but we, like Buddha can achieve whatever we set our minds, bodies, hearts and spirits to. We (the twinsies) are putting our happy, healthy, loving and safe vibes out there for all essential workers, elders, high risk humans and everyone else who needs it. Big thanks to .in.awe and and our people at the including and the AAM interns and students who helped us paint!

Twinsies here! Do you need some color and life in your world right now? Ask the goddess Tara for some help! Maybe ask yourself, "What would Tara do?" Our mural: Goddesses and the Art of Compassionate Wrath will help you to visualize her when asking for guidance. Tapping into some serious divine femme spirit will help cure just about any situation.
