Dreame Next went off without a hitch thanks to the great IATSE crew! It was a massive set in the Palace of Fine Arts with a short planning phase and required all the companies involved to throw the shop at the project. ATS was proud to support 3b Productions with our Spyder X80 and Millumin media servers to run the 8448x2304 almost 20 million pixel LED wall. Our clearcom deployment utilized multiple base stations and over a dozen transceivers to achieve complete venue coverage for 30 wireless comm packs.

It's hard to explain the challenge of creating a custom solution from the ground up that can feed content to 69 wirelessly pushed remote displays. This one started a year ago and the rabbit hole began. The task. You need to send up to 70 displays content wirelessly over a network with the ability to push new posters on the fly. We ended up getting custom built small form factor thin client servers with 4-6 outputs per box. We coded a custom agent to live on the machines to record and pass files to a custom display app to fill the screens and a custom restore app handles reboots auto populating the last pushed content. Then for control we have a custom python backend using node.js/react and a jsx dashboard for remote command and control enabling me to walk around with the laptop and push fresh content as needed when the wires got crossed. It was an exhausting dev process but by version 3.4 we got the show done! Alpha test went well now for some updates! ATS Audio Visual Display Dashboard is born.
