We didn’t wanna wait any longer to say a huge heartfelt thank you to all of you who came out for such a special gathering on Sunday for our Sunset spring opener at Yerba Buena Gardens. 🌸

This is exactly why we do what we do, to create community that’s long-lasting and built on love, music, unity and dancing. And to see three generations of Sunset family out in the park is really a special thing ❣️

As we return to longer daylight hours and say goodbye to the quiet of winter, we invite you to join us in celebrating the season at our upcoming Sunset Spring Park Party in downtown San Francisco on April 19th. 🫰

Since its inception, Sunset has been built on the ethos of the free party movement - hailing back to our roots in the 90s when our gatherings were small. But over the decades, as we’ve grown, so has the cost of putting our events together. So, staying true to our grassroots foundation - we are calling in donations to help make this happen from our community. In the stillness of late winter, we’re flashing back to the carefree summer days of 2025, our Sunset Boat Party , captured on film by 🚢⚓️

This year, we’re taking a hiatus from our Croatian sunset cruise and reminiscing in appreciation to for bringing us into the fold for 13 exuberant years as an unwavering dance party, bringing our signature psychedelic San Francisco Boat Party energy to the Adriatic Seas. Thanks to all those who made the voyage with us 🌊🐬

Despite this break, rest assured, Sunset Sound System is alive and kicking, recalibrating and buzzing with ideas, and with our Spring Park Party on the near horizon and new frontiers to explore…
