I’ve made a new solo with the premise: It’s me vs. my task list, and I’m not winning this battle…

Memorial Day Monday - if you’re around and want to dance!
I’ll lead a group warm-up, share a wee bit of choreo, and together we’ll explore movement through improvisation exercises meant for dancers at any experience level.

I’ve been loving in-person dance with and by humans. So much so that I’ve opted to not take early-process videos while we get back into the choreo of it all. Just know we’re cooking over here at Dragons Dance and I can’t wait to share more with you soon.

A related thought… if you don’t remember the choreo cuz there isn’t video evidence, was that choreo worth redoing in the first place? 🫠 lmk what you think!

ODC is a groundbreaking contemporary arts institution with longstanding roots in the San Francisco community. Our two building campus is home to a world-class dance company, a school with classes for all ages and levels, a Healthy Dancers' Clinic, and a nationally regarded presenting venue.

This FREE event is presented by Yerba Buena Gardens Festival and curated by and


Happening July 19th** & July 26th, 1-3pm in the gardens. Participants will travel from one location to the next to view site-specific dance pieces by an awesome line-up of Bay Area performers
**(Dragons Dance will perform on the 19th only)
