Before the stages, the guitars, and the songs that would help define Southern Rock, there was simply a smiling baby named Gary Rossington.

From these humble beginnings grew one of the most influential guitarists in American music history. As a founding member of Lynyrd Skynyrd, Gary's unforgettable riffs, soulful playing, and dedication to the band helped create a legacy that continues to inspire generations of fans around the world.

This rare childhood photo is a reminder that every legend has a beginning. Today, we celebrate the life, music, and enduring spirit of Gary Rossington—the last original member of Lynyrd Skynyrd and a true Southern Rock icon.

Gone, but never forgotten.
