Post Worlds Depression is REAL. š„²šā”ļø
Itās officially been exactly one week since I picked up our PokĆ©mon Worlds badges, and I gotta say⦠Iām still not over it.
PokĆ©mon has been a huge part of my life since I was 7 years old. From watching the anime, playing the games, collecting cards, and dreaming about becoming a PokĆ©mon Trainer, itās given me so many core childhood memories.
And now, all these years later, I somehow got to experience PokĆ©mon Worlds in my hometown of San Francisco alongside my better half. ā¤ļø
The 7-year-old version of me could have never imagined this.
Iāve been rocking all my PokĆ©mon Center merch like itās a full-time job š, but going back through all the pictures and videos has really made me reminisce about the entire experience.
The crowds. The excitement. The nostalgia. The PokƩmon everywhere. But most importantly, the memories we created together and the community as a whole
PokĆ©mon didnāt just stay a part of my childhood⦠it grew up with me.
It was there in my past, itās still a huge part of my present, and I have a feeling itāll be part of my future too.
Being able to create new PokĆ©mon memories with my wife and add them to my memory bank is something Iāll always cherish. ā¤ļø
Who knows if this was our first and last PokĆ©mon XP, but Iām just damn grateful we got to experience it and for my city to be the host. SF 415 WE BACK BBY! š
Until the next adventure⦠š„¹ā”ļø
Thank you, PokeĢmon , for giving the 7-year-old version of me something to dream about and the grown-up version of me something to still believe in.
