got to fulfill a bucket list dream this past weekend, playing Brahms Double with my Dad and the Palo Alto Chamber Orchestra (PACO)

my dad and i have done this piece together about 6 or 7 times but doing a collaboration with PACO has been a longtime dream of mine since it’s the place where my parents first met and played together back when they were teens 🐥

a huge thank you to Scott Krijnen for bringing this to fruition and leading the way

and to all the new friends in PACO, thanks for making this one come true 🙏

Haydn C major cello concerto this week with Robert Hasty and the Kenosha.pretty wild to think this piece was lost for nearly two hundred years and only “rediscovered” in 1961.anyway, I’m really looking forward, I even wrote a couple of new Cadenzas for the occasion.
