Experimental umbrellas have arrived at Umbrella Alley… and honestly, we have NO idea yet if they’ll survive a full San Francisco wind assault. 😂🌬️

Our original umbrellas looked amazing… right up until the Fisherman’s Wharf gusts started treating them like kites. So now we’re testing a few new shapes, materials, and colorful designs to see what can actually handle the crazy waterfront wind while still looking fun overhead.

Some may work. Some may completely fail. That’s part of the adventure. 🎨

Over the next week we’ll start adding more color, playful touches, and new ideas throughout Umbrella Alley 2.0 as we continue building this weird little art space one experiment at a time.

Stay tuned… and wish these umbrellas luck. ☂️🌈

iconic koi mural has landed in Umbrella Alley — the same bold, flowing koi he’s famous for, now brightening up one of Fisherman’s Wharf’s most colorful hidden spots.

Simple, striking, and very photo-friendly.
Don’t miss it when you’re wandering the alley. 📸

Travelers have spoken: San Francisco is the #2 Best Big City in the U.S., according to Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards. 🏆

When it comes to travel, the best recommendations come straight from the people who’ve been there. And Condé Nast readers—who know travel best—chose San Francisco for its world-renowned art scene, award-winning restaurants, unique neighborhoods, and breathtaking natural beauty. This is a city that leaves an impression long after your visit.

They say “I left my heart in San Francisco” for a reason. ❤️

And with Oakland ranked the #7 Best Small City, the Bay Area shines even brighter—celebrated for its diversity, vibrant culture, and a culinary scene that rivals anywhere in the world.
