Getting enough protein doesn't have to mean eating the same chicken breast and broccoli every day.
There are so many ways to add quality protein to your meals, and one of the easiest places to start is simply looking at what's already on your plate.
Eggs or Greek yogurt at breakfast.
Chicken, fish, beans or lentils at lunch.
Lean meat, seafood or a plant-based protein at dinner.
And on those days when life gets busy, a quality protein shake can be a convenient way to help fill the gap.
The bigger goal is "consistency".
As we get older, protein becomes an important part of helping us maintain muscle and strength, especially when it's paired with resistance exercise and an active lifestyle.
And for women navigating perimenopause and menopause, paying attention to protein and muscle becomes particularly relevant as body composition and muscle can change during this season.
You don't have to make nutrition complicated or perfect.
Start with your next meal and ask:
Where's my protein?
