We join music lovers around the world in remembering Dolly Parton, whose extraordinary songs, storytelling, warmth, and generosity touched generations. 🩷🦋

Last summer, the San Diego Symphony Orchestra had the privilege of celebrating her remarkable musical journey at The Rady Shell at Jacobs Park with Dolly Parton’s Threads: My Songs in Symphony.

From “Jolene” and “Coat of Many Colors” to “I Will Always Love You,” Dolly had a rare gift for turning personal stories into songs that belonged to all of us. Her contributions to music and songwriting, and the joy she brought to so many, will live on for generations. Thank you for the music, Dolly. 🎶
