Congratulations to our longtime Jury member Kim Magnusson on his election to the Board of Governors of The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, representing the Short Films Branch.

For the past 11 years, Kim has been an invaluable member of the Coronado Island Film Festival family, lending his extraordinary expertise to our Shorts and Student/Emerging Filmmaker Jury. His insight, integrity, and deep commitment to the art of storytelling have helped shape our awards program and inspire the filmmakers who submit their work to CIFF each year.
