FACES - SDSU Filipino American Cultural Empowerment at SDSU We hope to work with the community, not just on the SDSU campus, but the greater community at large.

Our purpose is to educate and empower students through Filipino-American events planned and hosted through the Center for Intercultural Relations at SDSU. We are a program created through the Center meant to encourage collaboration, intersectionality, awareness, and embracing of Filipino culture. Thank you to everyone who came out to our event Magandang Pinay. We had a very powerful discussion of Filipino women, in addition to learning about expectations of women in other cultures and talking about the struggles of being Filipino.
