If you were around for last year's production of Witch, you will recognize the remarkable work of Natalia Demko and Mashun Tucker, who are back as sound and lighting designers for this show. And after choreographing A Year with Frog and Toad, Sean Libiran is back with choreography that may be completely different, but just as unique and creative! Last year, we had some incredible guest speakers for our Teen Leadership program, including sound designer Melanie Chen Cole.

She not only shared her story and experience in the field, but also gave students a demonstration of the impact sound has on a production. Opportunities like this give our students the chance to learn directly from professionals working across the theatre industry, and exposure to new career paths.

Registration for our fall and spring Teen Leadership sessions is live on our website under Classes. This program is free and open to high school students across San Diego. Spaces are limited, so sign up today!
