July 31 was my first performance and Tech rehearsal where I did a full run of the show. I was worried about performing four days in a row, but my voice felt strong even after two back-to-back performances.

In early 2024 someone gave me an idea to combine poetry and storytelling.
In early 2025 I created a workshop version of Alisha's Light.
Next week, Alisha's Light Forever 57 will have its first International showing.

It's never too late to choose yourself and put your dreams into actions. We all can do this!

Talking about some of my first performances at poetry slams. It was the first time in my life that I went into something eyes wide open, watched the other performers and said to myself " I want to do that!'
