I don’t have much experience with . I actually this is my first time making a “ ” type thing that’s not out of paper mache. I know the earrings are not the best looking ones so I’ll eventually remake them as I learn more about clay.
I used so it was fairly simple. I did not follow the instructions too well, but it didn’t affect much. I used
I thought starting out making some simply earrings would be a nice easy start for me. So I wanted to recreate the two logos of one of my favorite YouTubers, . They’re quite easy shapes to recreate: a rectangle and a D-pad. Made the forms and laid them out to dry. As they are simple , they were quite simple to paint as well. I have to admit that I was a bit sloppy while making those so they aren’t my best.
I did, however, work on something else! And it had a much better result. Meet Harold! Who is this boi? Besides being a character, he is actually a Twitch emote for . Go check his content out! Back to Harold, the first problem I foresaw was his balance. It was either make his feet accurate or make his feet stable. I decided to make his feet accurate and simply add a form of balance at the end, hence the paperclip stand. There were however a few problems since I did not wait for the clay to completely dry (I’m supposed to wait at least a day… I waited like fifteen minutes), and some of his limbs started to detach easily. More glue (and treating him as a fragile item) helped! I am really, really proud of the paint of his face. It turned out pretty accurate!
It’s fun to experiment! Try it out sometime!
