First official wedding of the year!
Technically I second shot one the week before, but this one… this was my first wedding of 2026, and it felt so, so good. This day was booked almost two years ago, and when something is on the calendar that far out, it feels like it’s never going to arrive… and then suddenly it’s here, and then it’s over, all in the blink of an eye.
I’m endlessly grateful for couples who trust me to hold these moments for them. This one was especially sweet. A beautiful location, the kindest energy, and a private vow exchange that absolutely got me (this was only the second time I’ve ever witnessed one, both with the same videographer). Quiet, emotional, sacred in the best way. I definitely teared up a few times during the day, and again while editing and reliving it all.
A little hooray for the start of a new wedding year, with so many more love stories and projects ahead. I’m so excited for what’s to come… but for now, enjoy these two and this really special day.
