This is a long wait to post this, but I, Aaron Medrano, wanted to share this great video made for Fred Medrano and showcasing the 2021 Karaoke Contest finals.

To all the participants, volunteers, and everyone who played a part in this incredible 20+ year journey, we extend our heartfelt gratitude. As we come to the end of this wonderful era, we're filled with appreciation for the support, talent, and camaraderie that defined our karaoke community. Fred Medrano always believed that the real treasure of karaoke was the people, and you've proven him right time and again.

The video from the 2021 Karaoke Contest finals is a testament to the magic we've created together. Though this may be our last production, the memories we've shared and the friendships we've forged will live on forever.

In Honor of Frederick Medrano. There is so much to thank you. You've been there for so many people whenever they needed. No matter the time or place, you were there. You believed that people could do anything if they put their heart and mind to it. You showed that nothing was impossible. You were an unstoppable force in everything you did!

You were truly a karaoke icon throughout the world. You did this by pushing to be the best and bringing the best out of everyone. You had the right philosophy. Karaoke is about the people. The people are what make it fun and memorable. You'll always be in our hearts providing guidance and pushing us to be our best.

Today has been anticipated like no other! It's finally Finals Night for our $2000 Grand Prize Karaoke Contest! It's been an emotional time for all of us at YBTSE...but I know Fred will be looking down and watching us with a smile tonight! To all our contestants tonight, please arrive at least 30 mins before the contest begins and good luck to you all!
