I’m excited to share some wonderful news about my painting “Somewhere South of Charlotte.” This piece has officially found its new home, and I’m incredibly grateful for the journey it’s taken.

A huge thank‑you to Hindes Fine Art for representing my work with such care and for facilitating the sale. Their support has meant a lot to me, and I’m thankful for the opportunities they continue to open.

I also want to extend a sincere thank‑you to Hindes Fine Art for lending the piece to the Oil Painters of America Steamboat Art Museum Exhibition. Having this painting displayed alongside so many talented artists before it transitioned to its collector was an honor I won’t forget.

I’m grateful for everyone who played a part in this painting’s story — from the gallery, to the museum, to the collector who connected with it. Moments like this remind me why I love creating and sharing this work.

Thank you all for being part of the journey.

This past weekend in Kerrville TX was one for the books. I’m still letting it all sink in, but I’m incredibly honored to share that "The Witness" was awarded the Director’s Award for Painting at this year’s 43rd Annual Roundup.

Being part of this show for the first time was already a huge milestone for me, but to receive this recognition is more than I could’ve asked for. A massive thank you to the Museum of Western Art and the staff for such a warm welcome and for putting together an exhibition that truly honors the spirit of the West. It’s a privilege to have my work hanging in these halls.

And a huge thank you to for the incredible work done on the plaque that I was awarded.

To my fellow artists in the show, it’s a genuine honor to stand in your company. The level of talent and dedication in this room is inspiring, and I’m grateful for the conversations and connections made this weekend.

This journey is about more than just painting on a canvas, it’s about the stories we tell and the land we love. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a kind word, or supported the work. I’m feeling incredibly blessed to be doing what I love right here in Texas.

The exhibition will be on view to the public until June 6th.
