We had a customer come in who was unhappy with his handheld and wanted to pimp out his Gameboy advance SP. he was frustrated with the dim screen, and was having trouble keeping it powered on. He had a front lit model and wanted to go fully backlit with a new, glow in the dark shell, upgraded audio, a new battery, and a USB-C charging port for upgraded charging. We were happy to undertake the task! We started with a complete internal cleaning before upgraded his shell with a clear shell that glows green in the dark, a new speaker and amplifying module. Then we got rid of the outdated Nintendo charging port and added his preferred charging port. We added a high capacity battery and finished it out with a backlit LCD screen with fully customizable dimming and color options. And we did it in under two weeks! Needless to say, he was extremely happy with the end result! Here is the before and after…. Come see us if you want to customize your retro game ride!
