Asymmetrical War: Frontline Battleground

The Four Pillars:

There Are Four pillars undergird the AW name and, despite all the shaking we’ll do of the VR conventions, we’ll stay true to these throughout the development of Asymmetrical War: Rise of the Dark King

To us, this is what makes a game worthy of the name Asymmetrical War.

1. The Player will be physically and emotionally exhausted before they reach the end of the game. With Spee

d and a Sense of Urgency the player will need to think on his or her feet and act quickly or risk losing it all.

2. We’re not going to lie to ya... there are some themes that might not be suitable for the younger crowd. It’s the age-old story of man vs. machine; while, Asymmetrical War explores the complete violence of war, the intolerance of a Machine Empire, crimes of Greedy Humanity, the story takes a few twists into human genome and sexuality. For mature young audiences, “getting the cookie” at the end is nothing like this.

3. Enchanting Worlds Unlike No-Other. The game has a fantastic, original setting, with awe-inspiring painterly visuals, imaginative locations, offbeat items, and massive feats of magic. (Though in during the Singularity, “magic” is something surprisingly different.)

4. Bold Choices & Challenges. The game emphasizes re-playability and reactivity, and your choices will make a real difference. You can play the game with a different approach and discover entirely new pathways. Most importantly, we won’t tell you how to play. The “best” ending is the one that arises naturally from your actions throughout the game. Choices, Challenges and Problems are a way of life; dealing with them will reveal the player’s true character. We’ve been conditioned to play by the rules; however, in this game, if you play by the Rules you will die; Choose Violence and you will win!
