San Japan is a yearly event taking place on Labor Day weekend in downtown San Antonio at the Henry B. We take place on Labor Day Weekend. San Japan, the largest fan-run anime + gaming convention in San Antonio and South Texas, is a massive 3-day event that brings together over 28,000 attendees. We offer a wide range of Japanese anime, culture, costume, gaming events, and other fan-run events, all

in the vibrant downtown San Antonio, right in the center of the majestic Riverwalk. This yearly event will occur at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center along with the San Antonio Grand Hyatt Hotel on Labor Day Weekend. Here is the information for the Ironmouse VTuber Meet & Greet.

The form will go live on the San Japan website on 08/14 at 9:00 PM Central. The sign-up link will be posted then.

Sign-up is free. There will be no charge if you're selected. A valid 2026 San Japan convention badge will be required to attend this Meet & Greet.

We will accept up to 500 entries, or until the cutoff date of 8/22, whichever comes first.

We will pick them by blind lottery, with up to 35 selected. Do not sign up twice, as this may invalidate your entry.

Everyone will be contacted by 08/25.

The meet & greet will take place on Saturday, 9/5, shortly after the Ironmouse panel. Information, times, and location will be posted in the confirmation. It will be first-come, first-served during lineup.

San Japan would like to welcome world-famous music performer Yoko Takahashi to San Japan 17.

Yoko Takahashi made her debut as a solo artist in 1991 with "P.S. I miss you". Her best known songs, “The Cruel Angel's Thesis”, the theme song for “NEON GENESIS EVANGELION”, and "Soul's Refrain", the theme song for “NEON GENESIS EVANGELION: DEATH & REBIRTH”（movie）, continues to do well to this day. This talented singer boasts a total of 1.75 million copies sold, 7 million downloads, and over 700 million streams throughout, for these two songs.

Yoko Takahashi will be performing on Friday, 09/04. This concert will be open to all San Japan attendees with a valid 2026 convention badge. There will also be a paid Meet & Greet photo op the day after the concert, with details released closer to the convention weekend.

San Japan would like to welcome anime director Takushi Koide from Kinema Citrus to San Japan 17.

Takushi Koide is an animator and director at Kinema Citrus, known for his visually powerful and emotionally resonant work. He served as Assistant Director on R***e Starlight and directed the opening animation and a key episode of "Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun". Koide will make his directorial debut with "Goodbye, Lara", an original animated film and the first entirely original project announced by Kinema Citrus.

Focusing on ASMR and POV content, Promisu is a Japanese Virtual Talent Agency whose talents bring storytelling to new heights. Among ASMR and voice-acting skills, Promisu talents bring creativity and a bit of sauciness without fear to your screens. Come Hear Our Promisu!

Promisu EN, is the English branch of Japanese VTuber agency, Promisu. They have been operating for two years, and the branch itself debuted its first group in August.

Promisu will have (appropriate for 13+) virtual talent located in the vendor room. They will be holding an 18+ VTuber Event on Friday night; it will be open to all 18+ attendees with a valid San Japan pass who show valid, government-issued ID.

Kawa Entertainment is an Austin, Texas-based company that transitioned from a unique "adoption-style" VTuber talent agency into a specialized merchandise and logistics producer for virtual creators and online content.

San Japan would like to welcome First Stage Production EN to San Japan 17. We would like to welcome Lucien Lunaris and Nayuta Umbrage.

Lucien Lunaris is a vampire who has lived for hundreds of years. He has somehow lost his memories and can only vaguely remember his past. He wanders the world in search for peace and a place to call home.

Nayuta Umbrage is a mysterious alien with a perfect appearance that hides his hidden flaws and conflicted emotions. Roaming the world with a playful edge, he searches for both mastery and purpose.
