I recently got accepted into the PhD program in psychology at UTSA. But a year ago, I felt like quitting school, was horribly depressed, and often too anxious to even touch the one thing that had given me a voice; My Art. However, this was one piece that I stuck to and continued working on even at times given how I had been feeling trying to operate in an ableist system such as academia and masking. I have been working on this for about a year. As of now, my head is in a clearer place and the creative drive has been slowly getting its spark back✨
