Conductor José Luis Gómez returns to San Antonio on June 6!

Bringing his electrifying energy and artistry, Gómez leads an evening of iconic music featuring works like selections from Georges Bizet’s Carmen Suites Nos. 1 & 2.

A passionate advocate for music education, he is joined by rising cellist Cameron Renshaw and musicians from the Youth Orchestra of San Antonio for a memorable night of collaboration and performance.

Role models on and off stage.

Marian Castro and Katherine Rivas perform with The Orchestra San Antonio at the highest level while still inspiring and leading young musicians in classroom settings. As the Ascend Director at Japhet Elementary School, Castro has led students from total beginners to ensembles that perform their own pieces without a conductor in just seven months.

Serving both as mentors and role models, they bring exceptional artistry and incredible leadership to the orchestra.
