Thanks to some great students at Jordan middle school, and a visit from Leia and Janelle Baca, I finally broke $1000. Last year I raised over $3000 in honor of Luke to fund research for neuroblastoma treatments. Come on friends! We have three days left before the shave date- NOW is the time to donate! I have hundreds of FB friends- even $5 will help me continue Luke’s mission and honor his fight! https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/1130375/2024

This time last year I got to hang out with Luke and team at the St. Baldricks at Alamo Beer event. And, unbeknownst to me, Luke had a plan to make sure I got my head shaved. I was surprised to say the least. It was such a Luke move to make it happen without letting me know! This year, I’m shaving in his memory. Please please please donate even $10 to help me work toward Luke’s goal to find effective treatments for neuroblastoma. https://www.stbaldricks.org/participants/mypage/1130375/2024

The big day is only 2 weeks away! Please help me fight childhood cancer in memory of my student Luke. There are so many things I could tell you about Luke. He loved turtles. He wanted to be a herpetologist. He was stubborn! He was also wise beyond his years because neuroblastoma robbed him of much of the carefree childhood that most of us take for granted. Luke will be forever 14, but maybe our fundraising efforts can help find new treatments for other children fighting neuroblastoma. Please- help me and team LUKESTRONG to be a force against neuroblastoma.

I'm shaving my head to raise money for childhood cancer research and stand in solidarity with kids fighting cancer! Make a donation to support my fundraising efforts!

This is an amazing historical fiction that helped me to understand what it was like for Asian immigrants to try to make a new life in the United States. It is based on the author’s real life and I highly recommend it!

Tonight’s show at 8pm is planned as scheduled. We’ve checked the stage- it’s good and dry. The ground is a little wet, but it’s a parking lot so you can sit in your car if you are worried about mud! See you tonight!

Tonight’s show is cancelled as Mother Nature is putting her on own show. Please do come out tomorrow at 8pm for our final performance!

Meet the Actors!
Michele Wisniewski (physical actor) is a high school theatre teacher who loves theatre, the outdoors and beer, all of which seem to be encapsulated in this production. She would like to thank serendipity and Vanessa Eichler for the opportunity to be in this show and get a chance to do theatre in these crazy post-COVID times.
