2021 kicked off on the rough side for us here at Wolf Moon Texas. We lost the matriarch of the family, and inspiration for this lil endeavor of ours. She left her earthly body peacefully but there is a void that can never quite be filled. Fran "Sis" Pearsall was a wild one way before me but she inspired me daily to push the envelope, fight for what you want and believe, never let anyone tell you that you can't do anything, and to be an integral person not only to yourself but to your loved ones as well. This woman raised me to push back in a way that was both thoughtful and relentless. Now she lives forever in our hearts and memories. RIP Nana...til we meet again ❤

In other words, the burden is on the afflicted … at which point I said that I really wanted the cows in my yard, because it gave me an opportunity to practice random high-speed patterns on my motorcycle—running the cows hither and yon across the landscape, burning off valuable pounds of market meat in the process, and chasing the bastards till they foam at the mouth and fall in their tracks. (The bulls are tricky; they don’t always run, and when they charge you have to be very fast and cool with the gear-changes—or they’ll crush you.)”
