Legend of Zelda themed half leg sleeve: complete ✅

So incredibly thankful for eh trust and commitment of my super rad client in getting this finished!! When doing sleeve work, I work in panels/puzzle piece it all together so this is what we did! The first panel is based on the Ocarina of Time, the panel to the left is based on twilight princess, and the right panel is based on Windwaker, my clients favorite games from the series! They wanted to focus more on game elements than major characters; so I designed the project in such a way that everything can stay as cohesive as possible but still have little Easter eggs here and there. Super stoked on it! What’s your fav Zelda game?

Everything except the Lillie’s are healed!
The success of a coverup/rework has a lot to do with knowing what is possible and what isn’t-and what the end goal is! When we started this project back in early June, it felt like a mountain before us and now it’s finally finished! This coverup/rework was done in 4 separate sessions, to have enough time to heal in between and do touch ups where needed. My client wanted to enhance the original idea and goal they had, which was nature centered-so this is what we accomplished. I covered up the tribal piece entirely and hid the rest of its parts in a smoke screen, as well as covered up the birds with new, similar ones and reworked the Lillie’s and foliage in the best way I could. I love giving new life to things, and I’m so thankful for the trust!

✨MASSIVE coverup/rework! ✨

The success of a coverup/rework has a lot to do with knowing what is possible and what isn’t-and what the end goal is! Here’s to the start of a leg sleeve of climbing morning glories 🌸 I always love to tattoo flower pieces, and I’m so excited to add to it! We began with a single vine, which will cascade into more morning glories that all wrap and contour the leg. My favorite ones are the pinks and purples 💖
