Our next spring Saturday workshop is coming up on April 18th, (12-3pm at the Circle C Community Center). Open to all kids and teens in grades 4-12, this fun, fast-paced afternoon will feature theatre games, improvisation and creative writing — and will culminate in a performance sharing for parents at the end of the workshop! Don’t miss the fun! Cost is $40 per child and you will receive 10% off our summer camps!

We had an AWESOME time yesterday at our very first theatre workshop!!! Nine hilarious, wacky, unique, brave, kind, and talented kids came together to play, create, and perform. Already looking forward to our next workshop on April 18th! Don’t miss it!

RipplePoint Youth Theatre will offer three Saturday Workshops this spring! The first is coming up on February 22 from 12-3 at the Circle C Community Center! We invite your child to join us for a fast-paced, fun-filled afternoon of theatre games, improv, and creative writing. We'll end the day with a performance sharing for parents! MEET THE DIRECTOR! Bonnie Brookby brings over 25 years of educational theatre experience to RipplePoint. She holds a BA in Theatre and an MA in Teaching from Trinity University, as well as an MFA in Performance as Public Practice from UT Austin. A former middle and high school theatre teacher, Bonnie has also directed community-based youth ensembles in San Antonio and Austin. Her passion is working with kids and teens to devise original performances that inspire and spark dialogue with audiences! Bonnie is an actress, director, and writer, but most importantly a mom to two awesome kids!

Welcome, Friends! RipplePoint Youth Theatre is a new program based in South Austin for kids and teens in grades 4-12.

Dedicated to the creation and production of original performance work by young people, RipplePoint offers a unique approach to making theatre. Using theatre games, improvisation, creative writing, and dramatic play, RipplePoint draws from the ideas and experiences of young people to give expression to the things they find most important.

Through workshops, camps, and more, RipplePoint is an ensemble-based program grounded in creative collaboration and committed to giving Austin youth a truly one-of-a-kind theatre experience!
