Surprise! SpecDRAGular Zine Volume 2 is now available on Instagram and Facebook.
From here on out, each article will premiere first on Specdragular.com. A week later, we will share it across Instagram and Facebook in a format that fits social media and makes it easier for more of our community to access and enjoy the stories.

The wait is over. SpecDRAGular Zine Volume 2, Love Is in the Air, is officially live and ready to be dealt.

This volume dives headfirst into every suit of love in our community. From romance and connection to self love and loving the skin you are in, each page plays its heart out. But February is not just about love letters and sweet gestures. It is also Black History Month, and this issue proudly puts Black voices at the top of the deck.

We sat down with four incredible drag artists Joselyn Breezy, Natasha B. Capri, Calor, and Lady Mone for Important conversations about their journeys as drag artists of color. They speak from the heart about navigating the community, claiming space, and turning lived experience into art. Their stories remind us that love is not just something you feel, it is something you stand on, fight for, and lead with.

From bold visuals to powerful reflections, this volume proves that when it comes to love and representation, SpecDRAGular never folds. Every spread is a reminder that hearts are the strongest card in the deck.

We are thrilled to officially introduce the very first SpecDRAGular Zine.

Volume One launches with a full spotlight on the SpecDRAGular Awards, giving readers an inside look at one of Texas drag’s most celebrated nights. This debut issue features exclusive interviews, the complete winners list, and all the highlights from one of the hottest award shows in the Texas drag scene. You will also get to know Bloody Blush, the 2025 SpecDRAGular Drag Artist of the Year, along with many other incredible artists who continue to shape and uplift our community.

The full digital zine is available to read for free on our website Specdragular.com (or link in our bio). Accessibility is at the heart of this project, and the zine will remain on the website permanently for the community to revisit anytime for free.

This project is more than a publication. It is a way to honor, document, and preserve our community by imprinting our history into something lasting and intentional. Something that lives beyond a single night or performance.
