She established her career while raising two boys as a single mother and working days as a deputy sheriff in Detroit courthouses. She’s the first flute player to hit the top of both the Billboard and Smooth Jazz charts, and she joins us to discuss the latest single from her hit album, “In the Flow”.”

Last night was an unforgettable experience performing for the Women in Jazz series in Austin, Texas. Sharing the stage with my musical sisters, Kayla Waters and Jasmin Ghent, 🎷and the incomparable Gerald Albright 🎷made it truly special. We closed out a sold-out concert, a testament to the vibrant jazz community here. Huge gratitude to Kevin and Pamela Hart for over 20 years of championing live entertainment in Austin.❤️💙Special thanks to Darryl McEchin, MD, for assembling a stellar ensemble with Jerry Jones on guitar, Hosea Butler on drums, and Jorge Palomo on bass.🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🎶🎶🎶🎶🪈🪈Women in Jazz Association, Inc.
