Come by arton12gallery in Wimberley, TX to see the new show that was just hung today! The theme is “ Moody Blues”, and there are around 50 pieces created around this theme. This is my interpretation, inspired by a Chicago concert we got to see last year. You also get to vote for your favorite piece in the show so come on by!

It’s quite an honor to have been selected as one of the artists for this upcoming show- “7 Solos” at The New Braunfels Art League! I’m prepping for it now, so stay tuned! I’m working on some glass fish pieces for an upcoming exhibition at Studio C Gallery in Corpus Christi… and playing with tiny glass frit (like coarse sand) to create some interesting sea corals to add later. 🐟🐠🪸

For all your music lovers out there – I just submitted this piece at the New Braunfels Art League gallery- for their show “Big and Bold”! It’s the largest piece I’ve ever painted- aside from murals – it’s 4’ x 4’! I used bigger brushes and large oil pastel sticks (that look more like giant crayon sidewalk chalk sticks) to get the spontaneous effects. It was lots of fun to create. Opening reception is tonight from 6 to 7:30. The New Braunfels Art League

Every three months we rotate spaces Carriage House Gallery! Not only does it keep our walls fresh but we also bring in new pieces- so it’s always fun to see what everybody’s been working on. And it’s all available to YOU! Come by and see us!!

Enjoyed the afternoon creating this new piece- layers of glass bits, some hand cut larger and some as fine as sand. It’s roughly 7”x 10”. Going into the kiln to be fused up to 1400 degrees now. Can’t wait to see how it comes out!

I might put another layer of colored glass behind after it’s fired. 💕

It’s always a joy to see someone as excited about my work as I was when I created it! This is a mixed media piece with torn papers, oil pastels, patterns and acrylics- all layered to create this finished piece. Cactus love!🌵❤️
