The 6th Annual Cedar Arts Fest is looking for artists and exhibitors to join this year’s celebration of all visual arts in Osage!

📅 Saturday, September 19, 2026
🕙 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
📍 Leeman Education Center, Osage, Iowa

Whether you’d like to sell your artwork as a vendor or simply display your work as an exhibitor, this is a wonderful opportunity to share your creativity with the community.

✨ Details:
• Vendors (selling): $35 fee
• Exhibitors (display only): Free
• Approximate display space: 6' x 8'
• High school students are welcome
• Application deadline: August 17

This is a great opportunity for area artists!

The Charles H. MacNider Art Museum in Mason City, IA is putting out a call for entries for Area Show: 50, an all-media competitive exhibition, open to everyone above high school age living within 100 miles of Mason City.

Two artworks of any media may be submitted by each entering artist. Deadline for entry is Saturday, May 23, 2026. The exhibition will be on display from Friday, July 3 – Wednesday, September 23, 2026. There will be cash awards and the artist with the piece chosen Best in Show will receive a solo exhibition in the Museum’s Center Space gallery in 2027. https://bit.ly/47rVlgK

That’s when Osage resident Georgia Knudsen decided it might be time to share her paintings with the community.

She recently opened a small home gallery, ART etc., featuring her artwork alongside upcycled clothing created by her daughter’s line, All Gussied Up.

CALL FOR ENTRIES! 📷The 46th Annual Cerro Gordo Photo Show is sponsored by the Safford and Lena Lock Photo Endowment Fund. Residents of Cerro Gordo County, high school age and up, and those attending the spring or summer semesters at North Iowa Area Community College are invited to enter up to three photographs.
