April’s voice brings a soothing and inviting tone to anything that she sings and excels at both lead vocal work and background and harmonies for which she has been hir

ed as a professional in the studio and on stage for nearly 20 years. April currently works as a personal vocal coach and continues to do both live stage and studio work (including voice over commercial work). April has taught vocals for several years to both adults and children (ages 7 years and up). As a performer and vocal coach, April is charismatic and exudes a warm, positive and professional vibe that is infectious with all who share the stage, classroom, or are in the audience. April is also a talented songwriter and has fronted and recorded with several bands including her own performing her original material locally in the Bay Area (Original Funktion, Fred & Ethel and Funk Stew). Currently April performs as a lead vocalist for the popular 80’s dance cover band “The 85’s!”
