33 trips around the sun
I can honestly say most haven’t been fun
Years of triumphs, torments, and teachings
Brought tears, depression, and truth seeing
Life moves forward when you're stuck healing
Once you move on the next chapter is reeling
33 trips around the sun
And today marks another start in a marathon to the next one.

It’s hard to explain the specific kind of loneliness that comes with being a writer. Sometimes the hardest part isn’t the plot holes or the bad drafts, it’s the isolation. I’ve been trying to fit into spaces where I feel like I have to hide what I love most. It’s okay though. I'm trying my hardest.

I mean let's just burn it now 🔥😭💀

Silly me.

Marketing a book that won’t see the light of day for a hot minute, but hey, at least the draft is pretty. AND infuriating 💀📖

When the creative flow state hits, you don't question it—you just type fast enough to keep up with the chaos. Brain has officially left the building, do not disturb. 🤫📖
To my fellow writers and creatives out there—how long was your longest accidental "locked in" session? Did you actually get good words down, or did you have to go back and edit the chaos later?

Sunday slows right down when the weather matches the mood. 🌧️✨
Keeping it cozy today with a cold drink and a notebook full of messy edits. Sometimes you just have to look away from the screen, let the rainy atmosphere sink in, and let the characters speak for themselves. 🤫✍️
To my fellow writers and creatives—does rainy weather make you more productive, or does it just make you want to map out plotlines from under a blanket?

Current mood: 10% words, 90% caffeine. ☕️✨
Sometimes the manuscript fights back, but the iced coffee fights harder. Taking over my favorite corner at the coffee shop today to finally make some real headway on these chapters. 🤫✍️
To my fellow creatives out there—what is your absolute go-to writing or working drink to get you through the afternoon slump?

Line edits are serious business, but my supervisor keeps napping on the job. 🐾📝
Shoutout to the best writing assistants who keep us company while we work. Do your pets "help" you write (or read), or do they just take over the workspace?
