Beyond the performance, one of my favorite parts is meeting incredible people from all around Utah. At this luau I met someone with 99% Basque roots from France, a grandmother whose granddaughter served a mission on my home island of Tahiti, and a sound engineer who worked on Sharing Aloha.
Every event brings new stories, new friendships, and amazing people. I love these connections just as much as the fire dancing.
