Wasatch Contra Dancing Wasatch Contras is a non-profit educational organization which is dedicated to the preservation, stu We feature live music by local and out-of-town bands.

Wasatch Contras sponsors the Third Saturday Dance in Salt Lake City. Each evening begins with a brief beginner's workshop, and all dances are taught and cued by a caller. The main focus is on having fun. Dress is casual. Venue: Dances are held at various locations in Salt Lake. Time: Dances are scheduled from 7:30-10:30, with a beginner's workshop from 7:00-7:30 PM. Prices: General Admission $7, Students(16-25) $5, Youth(7-15) $3.

🎉 Come dance with us under the summer sky at Midway Centennial Park! Whether you're brand new or a seasoned dancer, this lively community event is open to all — no partner or experience needed!

💃 Calling & Instruction: Carrie Dayton-Madsen – fun, beginner-friendly instruction

Schedule:

5:00–6:00 PM – Community Dance for Kids (ages 3–12; adults must accompany children)

6:00–6:30 PM – Beginner’s Workshop (ages 8+)

6:30–9:00 PM – Contra Dance for ages 8+ and adults

Cost: FREE – All are welcome!
