The dicesmith's apprentice notices you admiring his work. "Grimmoth is no doubt the region's best, but there's a reason why he agreed to mentor me!" exclaims Odmeer. You notice Odmeer hasn't quite learned how to create sharp edges in his craft yet, but the beauty is outstanding.

"There shined a million shards of mirror floating above the ground," says Grimmoth wistfully as he holds up his craftwork to the light. "The ground around it was fractured like glass and shimmered rich colors, which is how these came to be." He hands over the dice. "I didn't dare touch the portion that floated."

Grimmoth laughs, "I brought Odmeer with me on the trip to the cursed underwater caves from which this material was mined! He didn't do well without the light to see your own hand in front of you. Best stay where the beauty is bright, I said!" You notice the black floor on each piece that forewarns of poor outcomes.
