Hey y’all!

I am heading to Fan Expo in Denver this year!

What a wonderful and wacky way to use my voice.

I have actually ALWAYS been a Lord of The Rings girl…The Hobbit was my first fantasy novel and my father and I made a tradition of seeing the movies together. We also shared the books. The world Tolkien created has always fascinated and captivated me.

I created and produced my Use Your Voice Workshop two years ago and I knew it’s time would come around again…this time with the perfect, nerdy, Jordan twist.

Honestly, I felt this workshop at Fan Expo might be too much right now! Lots of plates being juggled at the moment, BUT it’s been a JOY and I am thrilled it worked out. It makes me giggle and dance. Oh yes, we might also be doing a little jig in this workshop!

Truthfully I was already going to FanExpo to support while they headline an awesome featured event -ART ADVENTURES IN MIDDLE-EARTH
and sell their amazing/unique/beautiful pottery.

A note from Jordan,

I wanted to express my deepest gratitude to the Salida community as we head into summer. 
Anyone who interacts with me at the studio knows I LOVE what I do. It is my honor and greatest joy to help humans of all ages find their voice. Thank you for trusting me with this truly life changing task. Singing is so much fun AND this work goes deeper. The voice is one of our greatest tools for healing, expression and regulation. 

DID YOU KNOW that singing stimulates the vagus nerve and lowers cortisol? 
DID YOU KNOW that singing also releases serotonin, dopamine and endorphins? 

The benefits of singing are endless and I will geek out about vocal techniques and the impact of singing ANYTIME. I cannot wait to sing with you all this summer. I know we’ll have a blast while we soak in all the wonderful benefits of singing.

A little highlight reel from last night: I’ll try and put a few more together. Honestly, you really had to be there!😘 I spoke with my performers this week about live performance having flaw…that the whole reason we LOVE live performance isn’t about perfection but about connection… glad to capture the memories but there’s nothing like being in the room. We aim for growth. We aim for joy. We aim for FUN. We aim to become the best humans we can be. 🥰😘😍
