Nail polish Art completed.
Tbh, I did finish up two of these pieces with a fine tip acrylic marker but other than those details, its all nail polish medium.

Sun-night “paint and sip” at home (idk i dont drink often but, i saw the idea in a local event advert) so I figured i’d try my own version. Anyway, also the start of the latest Free Firewood art project. Im gonna take my time with my current art pieces due to much needed home improvement projects before the rain season begins. I also dont have any art deadlines and have other art goal obligations.. but im excited to experiment with some new elements on this piece as i progress with it.

Bah to editing mistakes, sorry for the zoom. It was last min, unintentional but necessary 🤦🏻‍♀️

Nail polish cityscape nail trio 🤷🏻‍♀️idk what to call it.

I got extra adventurous with these. Like, i went for it despite my lack of confidence and get-up-and-go. At one point there was pink roses in the sky because i got bored with painting clouds and decided to test my rose abilities and then i used nail polish removed on half of each piece. I couldnt figure out buildings. I wanted black as a bold and different approach but couldnt get them right. So i went with pink. And used the scratching method to create them. I like it but still feel as though its missing something. Creating 3 pieces with the same theme and colors is kind of challenging and kinda boring at times. I kinda felt like giving up at times and thought it was ridiculous but im glad i stuck with it.

From the other day and what is still in progress. NAIL POLISH ART cuz I have way too much nail polish. It’s a good medium because it layers really well. My buildings have improved immensely as well. These are screenshots of the video I took. I don’t normally do that but I don’t really wanna do editing. Maybe I will, idk. I found that my ears are abnormally large for my head lmao 😆 Maybe it’s just the angle or camera focusing but they do seem big. I wonder how many other ppl notice things like that when they first start seeing themselves in videos. I am grateful that my hearing has always been decent. 😆🤦🏻‍♀️

Shout out to the woman who mentioned mineral spirits to clean brushes.
Yesterday I learned a lot about the process of cleaning paint brushes and the types of cleaners to use.
And I’m happy to say that almost all my brushes are now as good as brand new!
Idk who she was or remember how I got to scrolling to her video but I hope all good things go to her!

Unique and funny mugs make my brain happy. PART 2 of last Saturday’s Art session. Creating something with nail polish because I have so many bottles that I don’t use. Which has turned out to be my favorite medium so far. Which is great cuz I have lots of it. So stay tuned for more nail polish cityscapes.

Hot mess for creating artwork PART 1 of last Saturday’s session. A day full of creativity.
I haven’t been feeling well but am on the mend so editing today. Retraining my body, soul and mind while on a calorie deficit has been a very interesting journey. I always thought it was just eating less and calorie counting. Maybe I’ll figure out a better explanation of the complexity another time. Needless to say probiotics and iron for the win. Nail polish art for the win too cuz now I want to create more cityscapes with it.

WORK IN PROGRESS: I usually have more than one artwork project going at a time due to my issues with attention span and other things but here's one I've been obsessing over.
“Coffee Mountain Worlds”
I've actually been obsessing over recreating it for awhile and have been doing some work to canvas here and there but have really locked in lately. I got distracted by the State Fair Art goal but I started creating physical art to recreate the digital art that i created and that’s still something that i want to do. I’ve also been working on art off camera too but try my best to record as much as I can. Anyway, not complete but wanted to share. The top layer of the gray background is actually fingernail polish (more on that soon). 🙂
