🌿Tomorrow is Imbolc, which marks halfway between the Winter Solstice (Yule) & the Spring Equinox (Ostara)! This means that the days will start to get longer & lighter and the world around us (at least in the Northern Hemisphere) starts to move from the still point of deep Winter.
🌸 It will probably still be cold where you are but start to look out for the first signs of Spring like little snowdrop buds pushing their way through the soil and tiny blossoms on the hedgerows around you.
🔥 The Celtic goddess Brigid is traditionally honoured on this day and represents the chasing away of Winter to be soon replaced by Spring. You can even make little corn dolls and crosses to place in the kitchen as a gift to Brigid in order to bless your home with plenty of abundance in the coming months!
