The votes are in! Congratulations to Shoki and Sara Tanabe, whose design, "Visitors Welcome," has been selected by the community as the official T-shirt for the 77th Salem Art Fair & Festival (September 11 - 13, 2026).

Thank you to everyone who voted and helped celebrate the creativity and talent of our local artist community. Your participation made this year's Community T-Shirt Contest a true community effort.

A heartfelt thank you to every artist and designer who submitted original artwork inspired by the spirit of Salem, community, and art. Throughout the public voting period, all artists remained anonymous to ensure the selection process was based solely on the artwork. We are grateful for every submission and for the outstanding contributions each artist made to this year's contest.

A special thank you to the other artists whose designs earned a place in the community's Top 4: Samantha Shamrock (Art in Nature), Hampton Rodriguez (Salem in a Single Stroke), and Chloe Elmore (In the Vineyards). Thank you for sharing your creativity and helping make this year's Community T-Shirt Contest a celebration of Salem's vibrant arts community.

Four Incredible Designs. One Community Choice.
The top four designs for the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival Community T-Shirt Contest have been selected, and now it's time to cast your vote.

Public Voting: June 29–July 5, 2026
Winner Announced: Week of July 6
Help choose the official T-shirt for the 77th Salem Art Fair & Festival by voting for the design you'd be proud to wear. Every vote helps celebrate the creativity and talent of our local artist community.

To ensure a fair voting process, the artists will remain anonymous throughout the public voting period. The winning design and its artist will be revealed together following the community vote.

There’s still time to share your art.

Applications for the 77th Salem Art Fair & Festival T-Shirt Contest close tonight, Sunday, June 21, at midnight.

Salem Art Association is inviting artists and designers to create the official 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival T-shirt design. The winning artist will receive a $200 cash prize, 10 free T-shirts featuring the winning design, 10 complimentary one-day tickets to the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival, and recognition on Salem Art Association social media platforms.

Designs should celebrate the spirit of Salem, community, and art while following contest guidelines, including original artwork created without the use of AI.

Calling all artists and designers!

The 77th Salem Art Fair & Festival T-shirt Contest is now open. The Salem Art Association is inviting community members to create an original design for the official 2026 Festival T-shirt.

The winning artist will receive:
• A $200 prize
• 10 free T-shirts featuring the winning design ($200 retail value)
• 10 complimentary one-day tickets to the 2026 Salem Art Fair & Festival ($100 value)
• Recognition on Salem Art Association social media platforms

Designs should celebrate the spirit of Salem, community, and art while following the contest guidelines:
• Original artwork only — created without the use of AI
• One-color design, maximum size 9”x9”
• Suitable for printing on various T-shirt colors
• Linework and solid fills only — no shading or gradients
• Any text must be fully incorporated into the design
• Family-friendly and appropriate for all audiences

Important dates:
Submission deadline: June 7, 2026
Community voting: June 15–24, 2026
Winner announced: Second week of July 2026
