November marked 48 years since the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Indians regained their federal recognition. Siletz was the first Oregon Tribe to restore its sovereignty after the 1955 Western Oregon Termination Act. This time of year, the Siletz Tribe celebrates the anniversary of the 1977 Siletz Restoration Act and the strengthening of the Tribe's sovereignty. Learn more: www.ctsi.nsn.us/heritage

The Siletz Tribe is proud to announce more than $1.35 million in charitable donations for 2024.

Through its Charitable Contribution Fund, the Tribe supported over 180 organizations across Oregon, advancing programs in education, health care, cultural preservation, public safety and more. Read the full report and list of recipients on our website!

Local small businesses will play a significant role in our project. During the two-year construction phase, the project will generate about 2,300 jobs and $141 million in wages, stimulate $492 million in economic impact and produce $54 million in indirect purchases or spending through supply chains in the local economy.

Last month, Siletz tribal members gathered for the annual Nesika Illahee Pow Wow, hosted by the Confederated Tribe of Siletz Indians at the Pauline Ricks Memorial Pow Wow Grounds. The celebration showcased traditional drummers and dancers, music, and crafts. Thank you to everyone who joined us in this memorable celebration of our heritage!
