LIFE | COMMUNITY | ART … last few weeks 🔄

Pulled a Deuces tour together with Joy Brownworth (Studio+), Latorra Bowles (Exec Director of the Deuces) and the man himself • supported the Sanderlin Center as one of my quarterly give-backs • thanks for stepping on and adding the story to her SHINE piece as we passed.

Shouts to
for purchasing this collective prints over the weekend from and sending me this flick…it set off a few ideas…

I was speaking with Tasko who said he wants his cut to be donated to Creative Pinellas so I said I would do the same.

I’ll also donate the full sale proceeds of the next five prints up to a medium* sold in the Creative Pinellas gallery in addition to paying the artists their cut to of course…

So get over to the gallery, buy a dope print, support a local artist and arts organisation - win win 🏆:

This will only equate to some $300 - small change in the scheme of things but every little helps, I’m hoping if Creative Pinellas can muster some cashflow for when the reserves run out they can continue to operate for the medium and then longer term…I know they are figuring out next steps and I’m sure many other ideas will follow from them and the wider community.

Like Margaret said to me when we signed up together a few months back “it’s not about the money, it’s about supporting the local arts” 💯

I’ve found in my years in the game, despite the challenges faced, the art world is one of the most resilient scenes there is, always there to help each other out - support the cause, which is ironic as artists struggle more than a lot of career paths, yet still show up en masse to support - just like last week….(clips from and )

Had a blast planning and delivering an Arts Day at the Police Athletic League summer camp 🎨

40 kids, ages 4–14:
1. I took the older kids on a quick mural tour to kick things off
2. Collective artists sketched the outlines of a new wall canvas ( )
3. We held a quick artist talk + Q&A
4. The artists created brand new coloring book pages, signed them, and the kids got to color, sign, and keep them
5. And finally — we all painted the wall together 🎨

Big energy, big smiles.
Huge thanks to Heather for co-planning the day and to the collective crew for bringing the creativity and care ❤️

Look at these kids’ faces 🥺 This is exactly why we do what we do.

Last week I took a tour Creative Clay, I have driven past many times and know the great work the organization is doing for resident artists with developmental disabilities.

Thanks to my friend and board member Scott Callison, for the invite, CEO Kim Dohrman for the wonderful tour of the gallery (open to the public), the thrift store (endless books and creative gifts, pay what you can), I also had the pleasure of meeting with three different classes students were participating in, one on ceramics, one on singing and one on drawing.

They even made me my own welcome sign 🥹 - looking forward to future conversations on how the collective can collaborate and support this wonderful arts non-profit

Looking at Gulfport Market for June 🥵 💪🏻

This has been nonstop for months, in the best way - I met all 20 artists in person, built the site which originally was just to host the artists originals, then it grew - got stickers, fliers and tees, dropped prints, got them all signed. Packed over 100 prints now with the right foam and cellophane to make them market-ready (separate to the ones for shipping).

A few weeks ago, I had no clue what was needed for a market. Thankfully, I know artists who’ve done it and had the stuff 😉 I’ve been collecting grids, racks, tables, chairs, sticker stand, A-board—and this 🔥 banner from .

It all comes together tomorrow Second Saturday Art Walk at 5pm —pull up, check out the setup, and see some dope art.
