We attended the Creative Pinellas Arts Annual 2018 Opening exhibit last night. It was a fabulous event (more like a party!) with a variety of arts represented - Dance performance by Helen French, poetry reading by Gloria Muñoz, a rock opera by Tom Sivak and inspiring artwork from local artists. The exhibit goes until November 18th so please check it out. Many thanks to Creative Pinellas Danny Olda (curator) and Jessica McCormick for making this a memorable event!

We were awarded Third Place in the Florida CraftArt exhibit "Dolls - and Where They Live" for our submission "Prinz Bobo", a hand-crank monkey automaton. It was a wonderful event, the artworks are inspiring. Please come see this show through July 28th!
ArtLofts artist Jeannne Hascall sponsored the exhibition.Chommick + Meder were awarded third place and Loretta Nardone.
Come see "Pretty Polly" at the Florida CraftArt Exhibition "DOLLS : and Where they Live". Special themed environments will be created suggestive of where the dolls might live. This will sure to be a most unusual show!

Here are the figures (current and early work) we brought to display at the Max Oscar Arnold exhibition.
Last December we were contacted by the cultural senate of the city of Neustadt bei Coburg, Germany informing that the city had nominated us to receive the Max Oscar Arnold award in "Category 13: the best overall work of an established artist."
We were invited to come to Germany to exhibit our works during the Max Oscar Arnold Exhibition, to attend the Max Oscar Arnold Award Ceremony and receive the award presented by the Mayor -- this was the reason for our trip to Germany. Award winners were announced during the ceremony which is why we could not make a public announcement.
We wish to thank the city of Neustadt bei Coburg. This was truly an honour, we not be more pleased to receive this prestigious award.
