Today we went to the Sarasota Art Festival to support my sister The Muddy Walrus Pottery. We knew Wyatt’s buddy, Andrew, from Dunedin Candle Company would be there, too. They met at an art festival in Gulfport a few years ago, when Wyatt decided to start telling every passerby how amazing Andrew’s candles smelled. He brought in a few customers and Andrew paid him his first commission. Wyatt was hooked and they’ve kept in touch over the years and through our travels.
Whenever we’re in FL we always stop by to say hi.
Today Wyatt wanted to hang out with Andrew as a “humble apprentice” (his words 😂) and ended up being interviewed by the local news SNN, The Suncoast News Network. The reporter actually talked to him for a good several minutes and Wyatt decided to gift her with a candle when she was done. She was so touched. It was very sweet (and generous of Andrew to allow him to give away merchandise! 😂).
Watch until the end and catch a glimpse of our little salesman! ❤️ Or as we affectionately call him - “the mayor.” iykyk 😂
